Mentoring
One-to-one time with a mentor who listens, encourages and helps you figure out what's next — no judgement, just support.
The Lighthouse Youth Trust is a warm, welcoming space where young people build confidence, learn new skills, take on exciting outings, and always have somewhere safe to turn.

We're a bright, buzzing space for young people aged 11–18 to hang out, try new things and grow. Think one-to-one mentoring, hands-on skills sessions, exciting days out, and a door that's always open when things get tough.
Every young person's journey with us looks different. Here's what's always on offer.

One-to-one time with a mentor who listens, encourages and helps you figure out what's next — no judgement, just support.

From cooking and confidence-building to CV workshops and creative projects — skills that last a lifetime.

Hikes, day trips and adventures — getting out, trying new things and making memories with friends.

Drop in any time — our doors are open for young people who just need somewhere warm and welcoming to be.
A few moments from our sessions, outings and drop-ins — this is what a normal week looks like.

Don't just take our word for it — here's what a few of our members have said.

Coming here changed everything. I've got mates, I've got someone to talk to, and I actually know what I want to do next.
Jess, 16

My mentor helped me build the confidence to apply for college. I never thought I could do that.
Tyrell, 17

It's the one place I know I can just turn up and be myself. No one judges you here.
